Russian tourists will receive more opportunities for inside travel throughout the country. Therefore, in the Far East, 12 new resorts may appear at once.
Plans for the development of the potential of the travel industry were revealed on Eastern economic forum by Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko. He also clarified that this year there will be proposals for their creation, and development concepts will also be created. We are talking, among other things, about new resorts in regions such as Primorsky Krai, Sakhalin Oblast, and Kamchatka Territory.
Tourism industry will receive serious support – direct budget investments in 2023-2030 alone will exceed 460 billion rubles. For comparison – last year, the industry received funding within 11 billion rubles.
At the same time, it is expected that the internal annual tourist flow over the next seven years may approach the mark of 140 million trips.
In addition, Rostourism proposes to create the program for the development of seaside resorts. According to the head of the department Zarina Doguzova, the demand for their services is estimated at 30 million people.
