A new plant in the Amur Region will produce soy protein isolate, the most profitable product in soybean processing.
Soy protein isolate, a highly refined or purified form of soy protein, as well as dietary fiber will be produced using Russia’s unique, cutting-edge technology.
The plant is supposed to produce some 10K tons of soy protein isolate and 5.5K tons of dietary fiber per year. To launch the first line, a total of RUR 2.5 bln ($40 mio) of investment was used, including investment in the infrastructure. However, plans call for building the second line, which will cost another RUR 1.4 bln.
