Russia now has more confirmed COVID-19 cases than Spain, with 232,000 patients as of today.
The United States continues to have the largest number of cases, with over 1.3 mio patients.
Russia, after running ahead of Spain and Great Britain, is now the second hardest-hit country. Other countries seriously affected by the novel coronavirus include Italy, France, Germany, Brazil, Turkey, Iran and China.
The total number of cases in the world has reached 4 mio. Russia registered 10,899 new cases in the past 24 hours, RIA Novosti reports.
