The features of the aircraft of the future are its flight range and endurance. During a 14 hours flight the aircraft can cover 1,500 kilometers. Designers kept the UAV’s weight within 30 kilos. The vehicle is equipped with an aerial laser scanner making reconnaissance most efficient and allowing to review environment and camouflaged objects and to measure outside temperature, wind direction, etc. The drone also has an AI which processes all collected data (photo and video images and sound recordings).

“Six cameras can be integrated at the UAV. For the first time, an unmanned system has an aerial laser scanner. The technology collects data of the area under surveillance including terrain. It identifies camouflaged objects and their characteristics, and any changes in the environment”, a corporate media release says.

The project is implemented by Zala Aero which is part of Concern Kalashnikov. Currently, the innovative vehicle is being tested and will soon be ready for mass production.
