Local real estate market analysts figured out how many thoroughbred kittens should be sold to generate the money required to buy a studio in Russia’s Chelyabinsk nearby the Ural mountains.
For that, publications offering pedigree kittens and real estate for sale were reviewed. It turned out, to buy an average studio in Chelyabinsk worth RUR 1.5 mio ($23K), one would have to first sell 23 kittens of Scottish Fold breed (RUR 23K each), or 76 kittens of Maine Coon breed, or 34 Birmans (Sacred Cats of Burma).
