Aeroflot has been granted the highest five-star rating for punctuality from the world’s leading provider of travel data and insight OAG, becoming the only Russian and the largest European airline by passenger traffic to receive five stars.
OAG’s punctuality rating is based on full-year on-time performance data. Only 10% of On-Time Performance Star Ratings receive the highest five-star rating. According to new data provided by OAG, this year Aeroflot performed better than its global peers, thus confirming its stable position among world’s most punctual airlines.
In January 2019, UK aviation publication FlightGlobal named Aeroflot the world’s fifth most punctual airline and second in Europe based on data from 2018.
