Vactek, a resident of the Kaluga special economic zone, and Lamina Тесhnologies S.A. signed a cooperation agreement to build a Vactek plant for manufacturing various kinds of carbide cutting tools.
On August 28, the companies signed an agreement to transfer technology used in manufacturing cutting tools. According to it, experts from Lamina Тесhnologies S.A. will provide technological assistance to Vactek in creation a cutting-edge industrial facility.
Lamina Тесhnologies is a Swiss producer of carbide cutting tools. Using the submicron alloys and their own technology of applying of the PVD coating of increased thickness Lamina created a universal alloy used in steel, cast iron and heat resistant alloys processing.
