Ruble may wane by New Year. Experts predict that US dollar will rise to at least RUR 65.
Over the previous month, the exchange rate has been fluctuating between RUR 63.5 and RUR 64.4 per dollar. As of 9 am on November 22, $1 cost RUR 63.71. According to Sberbank analysts, by New Year $1 will be equal not RUR 65 but RUR 67. The experts believe that ruble will be affected by the growing US tariffs on Chinese imports. However, if the United States decides not to raise the tariffs in December, ruble will get stronger and $1 will be worth RUR 64.
Meanwhile, some experts claim that on a global scale ruble has stabilized. In the next few years dollar will not go over RUR 66 and no surges are expected.
