ALROSA sold 120 special size diamonds

Russia’s ALROSA, a global leader in diamond mining, sold 120 special size rough diamonds (total weight of 1,940 carats, revenue of $10.2 mio), including two diamonds weighing over 50 carats each, at an auction in Israel, attended by firms from Belgium, Hong Kong, India, Israel, Russia, the US, and UAE, corporate web page reported.

“Large rough diamonds are consistently popular with Israeli diamantaires. This was the third auction in Israel this year which brought highest revenue, too. Until the yearend, three more auctions here are expected,” Evgeny Agureev, Member of the Management Board, said.

In 2018, ALROSA held six auctions for special size rough diamonds in Israel.
