Beru marketplace opens in Rostov Region

The first Beru logistics complex, which opened at the end of 2018 in the Aksai County, Rostov Region, has begun operating at full capacity.

This platform will house goods from producers from both Rostov Region and the entire Southern Federal District. The project was launched by Yandex.Market. The service offers storage, online platform placement, order assembly, delivery and even processing of shopping returns. Investment in the project has reached some RUR 500 mio ($7.7 mio).

“We are gladly offering cooperation to all producers of the Russian south, as well as local shops,” said Yandex.Market General Director Maxim Grishakov. “We are confident that our investment in logistics, marketing and customer engagement will help southern companies to bring their sales to a new level.”

“The demand for such selling centers is long overdue. It will allow for cutting the chain of intermediaries, lower prices for customers and increase them for the producers,” said economist Dmitry Afanasyev. “In all, it will make running your business easier and will inspire many people to develop their own manufacturing businesses.”
