Bridge to China certified by Russian Construction Ministry

The Russian Ministry of Construction, Housing and Utilities has signed a document that allows the operation of a bridge across the Amur River connecting two countries, Russia and China.

The document certifies that the bridge, located near Blagoveshchensk, central Amur Region, meets the necessary requirements.

The bridge is 1.8 km long and has two lanes, one in each direction. Interestingly, the Russian and Chinese parties build exactly 540 m of the bridge each.

The bridge between Russia and China will be used on payment basis in accordance with a concession agreement. The bridge is expected to pay off within approximately 16 years.
