Cheese lovers from the Belgorod Region and neighboring areas will have the opportunity to try a new type of cheese that will be produced at the Hochland Russland facility.
A new production line was established to produce soft brined cheese.
Brined cheese is cheese that is matured in brine, it does not have rind and contains up to 7% salt. Many types of brined cheese are traditional for the cuisines of the Caucasus and Transcaucasia.
The cheese line, storage facilities, industrial spaces and a cleaning facility for milk tankers were built using investments worth RUR 1.5 bln ($21 mio).
The investments are supposed to pay off within the next four years.
