Chinese entrepreneur donated masks and COVID-19 tests to Russia

Russian Aerospace Forces aircrafts delivered more than 1 mio masks and 200K tests for detecting coronavirus infection, donated to the Russian Defense Ministry by a Chinese entrepreneur, an honorary member of the Russian Geographical Society, Jack Ma, website of the ministry reports.

During a telephone conversation with Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, the entrepreneur noted that he was deeply touched by the assistance that Russia provided during the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic in the People’s Republic of China. Jack Ma thanked the Russian Defense Minister for his support and stressed that he is helping Russia now and will continue this work as a sign of deep respect and friendly relations with the head of the Russian Minister.

In turn, Sergei Shoigu thanked Jack Ma for the transferred cargo.

“You are a true friend of our country and we are grateful for your selfless efforts to assist in the fight against coronavirus,” he said.
