A robot professor will soon start teaching at a teacher-training college in the Voronezh Region, according to the robot’s supplier, Promobot.
The robot will help students at the Provincial Pedagogical College in Rossosh explore robotics, RIA Novosti writes.
The students will be learning how to develop and program robots. They will also study artificial intelligence management and learn how facial recognition works in robots.
These students will practice programming on an actual robot rather than on virtual models, the company pointed out.
Invest Foresight previously reported that robots have learned to detect lung cancer. Artificial intelligence can examine blood samples and diagnose the disease based on the results.
