Coronavirus reaches pandemic level

The World Health Organization (WHO) has announced a global pandemic of the coronavirus. In the past two weeks people in 113 countries have been infected with the new disease. Currently, 126K people in the world have the coronavirus.

According to the WHO, in the past fortnight, the coronavirus epidemic has reached beyond China. The number of cases elsewhere in the world has increased 13 times and the number of affected countries has tripled, RBC reports.

As of now, the death toll is over 4.6K people, according to the WHO. The organization stressed that the preventive measures must continue. Healthcare experts believe that the pandemic can be contained.

The WHO also noted that there are still 81 countries in the world where no coronavirus cases have been reported.
