Army-2020 International Military and Technical Forum held between August 23 and 29 nearby Moscow at the Patriot park, Alabino training ground and Kubinka airfield, has been attended by representatives of official military delegations from 37 foreign countries. A total of 103 foreign experts took part in the fourth day of the forum. On Wednesday, 3,896 representatives of the professional community took part in various events within the frameworks of the Forum’s scientific and business program. Since the beginning of the forum, 139 events of the program have already been held (91 round tables, 21 conferences, 11 meetings, 14 briefings, 2 signing of contracts), which were attended by 6,628 visitors.
With the participation of foreign specialists from 29 countries, a briefing Military Education: Prestige and World Recognition was held. Dynamic displays of aircraft samples and demonstration flights of aerobatic teams were also arranged for foreign delegations.
Foreign guests showed particular interest in the exhibitions of Russian Helicopters, United Engine Corporation, Tactical Missile Armament corporation, Rosoboronexport, and Machine-Building Technologies concern.
A significant event was the demonstration of the combat capabilities of weapons, military and special equipment of air defense with video broadcasts from the Ashuluk range to the Alabino range, followed by a demonstration of the capabilities of the air defense forces to counteract the unmanned aerial vehicles of the mock enemy and their destruction.
The Forum’s program for the public now commenced while specialists and experts will continue their work on studying the presented samples of weapons, military and special equipment at ranges, as well as take part in the events of the scientific and business program.
The display of weapons and equipment in dynamics will traditionally differ in an interspecies direction, where the running and firing capabilities of weapons and military equipment of the Russian Armed Forces will be demonstrated. Four tactical episodes will be played with the use of BTR-82A, BMP-2 and BMP-3, BTR-82AT, BMP-2 Berezhok, BMP-K17 Berezhlivy, and JIF crew.
