Vladimir Putin received Rosneft oil company CEO Igor Sechin to discuss the situation in the oil and gas industry, presidential web page reports.
“Rosneft is Russia’s biggest company and largest taxpayer,” Putin said, noting that “the drop in global demand is the most important problem for everyone.”
As Rosneft CEO Igor Sechin pointed out, “Last year Rosneft showed high production and financial and economic results and was the largest taxpayer, having generated 18% of the federal revenues.”
