Eastern Russia’s largest pasta factory to open in Kemerovo Region

KDV-AGRO (part of KDV Group) plans to open a pasta factory in the Kemerovo Region that will become the largest factory of this kind to the east of the Urals.

The factory’s annual capacity will be 50,000 tons of products. The production line is currently nearing completion, with assembly and installation works almost finished. KDV-AGRO is going to invest RUR 1.2 bln ($19 mln) in the project. The plans to build the factory were announced by Deputy Governor for Agriculture Alexei Kharitonov.

The new facility will be located in the Yashkino District of the Kemerovo Region, also home to the company’s confectionery plant. The pasta factory will become one of the key exporters of agricultural products.
