China’s annual investments in artificial intelligence total $15 bln as this is one of the most promising technologies, Russian Minister of Economic Development Maxim Oreshkin said addressing the Second Stolypin Forum in Moscow on May 23.
“China normally invests in long-term projects and the most promising technologies that can provide significance economic growth. Today, one of such technologies is artificial intelligence; China annually invests $15 bln in its development”, the minister noted.
Economic growth is a painful process, Maxim Oreshkin said, adding that as soon as a team of officials achieve positive results they are expected to show event greater expansion rates.
“As athletes say, no pain, no gain”, the minister concluded.
