Russia’s Far Eastern Federal University will develop an ‘artificial personality’ with the use of AI on the basis of a supercomputer, the university’s press service reported.
“The supercomputer will soon be used, in particular, for a comprehensive research project aimed to create a so-called artificial personality that would be able to recognize human speech and keep a lengthy and meaningful conversation”, the statement said.
Development of such neurosystem could be used for commercial purposes or state services.
“One of the possible purposes of such AI-based system is working as consultant at a contact center in a state organization or a commercial company”, the press service noted.
