Forbes has ranked Russia’s best employers. Norilsk Nickel tops the top 50.

The Forbes ranking was based on two criteria which are working conditions and social responsibility (including charity and sustainability efforts).

Oligarch Vladimir Potanin’s Norilsk Nickel took the first place in the rating. Norilsk Nickel employees enjoy high average wages and attractive benefits packages.

The second best employer is Polyus, a gold mining company. Just like centuries ago, gold mining is a rather lucrative industry and the company’s employees are happy to earn big bucks.

Gazprombank, a representative of the financial sector, rounds up the top three. Russian internet giant Yandex came fourth. Yandex is widely known for an excellent working environment. Finally, the fifth place was taken by Vitaly Nesis’s Polymetal mining company.
