Multiple products of Russian defense industry companies are displayed at the 15th International Maritime & Aerospace Exhibition in Malaysia these days.
One of the products, Su-57 fifth generation fighter, has unique characteristics facilitating its export potential, Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov said, noting that Russian defense manufacturers are prioritizing the needs of the national defense ministry, yet given the exceptional features of this fifth generation fighter, the prospects of its export are quite promising. As he pointed out, India is a good option to start promoting the exports program.
Manturov also stressed that in the arms market, deep trust between buyers and suppliers is of prime importance, hence Russia is pragmatic and consistent in never attempting to employ sanctions or similar measures to put pressure on its partners.
