High-tech knowledge at City of Education Forum

High-tech methods to test knowledge and acquire new skills will be presented at the City of Education Forum (August 29 to September 1) in Moscow, local Mayor’s website reports.

A thousand specialists from 50 countries are to attend the Forum which annually brings together scientists and businessmen, teachers and parents, school and university students, and all those interested in modern education, unique practices and cutting-edge technology.

Moscow Centre for Quality Education will let anyone to check their knowledge in chemistry, stereometry, English and other subjects in the virtual reality format. With a VR headset on, forum visitors will get into the virtual world to perform various tasks.

The Forum’s pre-professional LabPro laboratory will daily hold master classes, workshops and seminars on engineering, medicine and natural sciences for high school students. Children will have an opportunity to test medical simulators to practice first aid skills, learn how to design robots, explore the work of a mini-model of a production line, get to know the basics of digital, analogue and radio electronics, operate a 3D scanner and printer, and a virtual holographic complex.
