Most Russians are not satisfied with their current salaries: they want to receive at least RUR 92K per month ($1.5K), according to a poll conducted by the Rabota.ru online portal.
Only 4% of respondents agreed to have a monthly salary of RUR 30K ($480), while 26% would like to receive RUR 100K-RUR 200K ($1.6K-$3.2K). On average, Russians would be satisfied with at least RUR 92K per month.
Salary expectations depend on the region; thus, the ideal monthly salary for Muscovites is RUR 104K, while St Petersburg residents would agree to RUR 102K. In Novosibirsk, people want even less money: RUR 90K. The residents of Nizhny Novgorod would be happy with a monthly salary of RUR 70K.
According to Russia Today, over 6.5K people from various Russian regions took part in the poll.
