Innovative technologies and medicine in Moscow

Strogino Technological Park has received the status of the priority investment project with a contract further signed. This will create new high-tech enterprises on its territory, said Head of the Moscow City Department of Investment and Industrial Policy Alexander Prokhorov.   

“The status of the priority investment project is awarded to projects aimed at supporting priority trends in development of the city’s economy. In this case, this is the enterprises’ work in the field of innovative technologies, manufacture of medical appliances and pharmaceutical products and power-saving methods. Investments in the project will exceed RUR 606 mio,” he said.

The technological park’s development plan envisions upgrading of four capital construction facilities and erection of a new one. The capital construction area will total 17K square meters in 2018, reaching nearly 27K by 2020.

Today, Moscow has 49 industrial enterprises and 35 technological parks supervised by the city’s department of entrepreneurship and innovative development. They employ over 96K people.
