Russian Helicopters will launch the production of Ka-62 medium-sized multi-purpose helicopters next year; regular deliveries will begin in late 2020 and early 2021, according to CEO Andrei Boginsky.
Russian Helicopters now continues to test the Ka-62. A preliminary agreement has already been signed with the Primorye Territory’s government for the supply of four helicopters.
The Ka-62 is a promising Russian multi-purpose helicopter developed by Kamov, a modification of the Ka-60 military project. The development began in 1990; in 2019, the Ka-62 was demonstrated in the flight program at the MAKS air show.
