The current challenger of Tesla is Russia’s CV-1 (body of IZh-21252 Combi which manufactured in the USSR in the 1970-s).

This hi-tech vintage car can travel 350 kilometers without battery charging, and it takes six seconds for it to reach 100 km/hr. Its indicated power is 220 kW. The sample presented at the Army 2018 is a combination of sophisticated systems and an onboard computer, which at the moment are still tested.

The mass production launch date is yet unknown. For Concern Kalashnikov it’s not the first attempt to come to the electric vehicles market. Its previous vehicle, UV-4, had an indicated power of 50 kW and could travel at 80 km/hr.
