Bosco di Ciliegi Group owned by Mikhail Kusnirovich has launched a new production facility, Bosco Manufactories, in the Kaluga Region. The complex is located in the Kaluga-Yug industrial park. Total investments in the project amount to RUR 2.3 bn ($ 35.3 mio).

The opening ceremony was attended by regional authorities, federal officials, and Russian celebrities.

The industrial complex will boast a substantial capacity and produce over 3.6 mio knitwear garment items per year. Its products will also include outerwear such as down jackets, windbreakers, and jackets, with over 120,000 items manufactured per year. The enterprise will employ a total of 900 people.

A high level of production line automation will provide for significant production volumes. Along with manufacturing lines, the complex will also include an experimental production facility and even a classroom.

The implementation of the project, which was started last fall, took over a year. In the future, the new factory can become a venue for localizing the production of foreign brands in Russia. The company also intends to develop the factory’s export potential.
