Russia’s major automobile manufacturer KamAZ will take additional preventive measures amid the coronavirus outbreak by paying its employees for potential sick leave.
“Soon we will introduce a number of restrictions to prevent the spread of coronavirus and will take measures to provide medical and financial support for our workers in case any will have to have to be absent from work due to preventive measures,” KamAZ General Director Sergei Kogogin.
“Due to the aggravated epidemiologic situation in the countries that KamAZ has maintained strong partnership relations with, particularly, Italy and Germany, we must take strict measures to prevent the spread of the infection in the workplace,” he emphasized.
