Khabarovsk company casts first gold bar

The first gold bar has been smelted at the Polyanka deposit in the Khabarovsk Territory. The project is being implemented by NGK Resource; the company mines gold in the Nikolayevsk priority development area.

The company has by now completed start-up and commissioning works and is ready for production. All of its first stage facilities have been launched, and all relevant permits obtained.

We have launched a crushing and screening unit and a gold extraction plant in pilot mode; today we have cast 39 kilos of gold bars of 86% purity,” said NGK Resource project manager Valery Guminsky.

The Polyanka mine can become one of the largest in the Khabarovsk Territory. Its design capacity is 1.5 tons of gold per year. Investment in the new project has already exceeded RUR 2.6 bln ($40.2 mio).
