Lockdown in Moscow

In an attempt to fight COVID-19, local authorities in Moscow ordered all restaurants, cafes, bars, cafeterias, retail shops, parks, public baths, museums, cinemas, barber shops and all similar outlets to fully cease operation between March28 and April 5. Only groceries and drugstores will stay open.

Earlier, free use of public transport for senior citizens and university students has been suspended.

People are advised not to visit any religious sites.

Yesterday, Russian President declared next week an official non-work period.
