Denis Manturov, Russian Minister of Industry and Trade, was received by the President and updated him on the non-financial sectors’ 2018 development results, presidential web page reported.
According to the Minister, overall growth in the manufacturing sector was 2.6% while non-primary energy exports grew by 11.6%.
In car manufacturing industry, labor efficiency rose by 16%. As he noted, “The market has grown to nearly 1.9 mio vehicles. Our companies manufactured 1,752,000 vehicles. The production growth rate was 14%. Vehicles made in Russia account for 85% of the market.”
