iPhones.ru released a research that determined the best mobile company in Russia. MegaFon won for loading speed and data retrieval speed. The survey was conducted using a Speedtest widget on the iPhones.ru website. More than 11K users measured internet speed on their mobile devices.
The average loading rate for MegaFon customers is 54 Mbps, or 13.7 Mbps higher than the second fastest speed and twice as high as the third result.
MegaFon’s average data retrieval speed is 18.1 Mbps, which is the best result for all mobile companies.
Currently, MegaFon has the country’s biggest network of base stations. It operates 241,265 stations, including at least 100,451 LTE stations. As of the end of Q2 2019, the company provided service to more than 77.6 mio customers.
