Moscow’s economy is stress-resistant – Deputy Mayor

The Moscow economy is quite resilient and can withstand major stresses, Deputy Mayor of Moscow Vladimir Yefimov said.

According to him, in the first week of June, the average daily turnover in the industries most affected by the pandemic grew by 14.3% compared to the previous week. The pandemic was a stress test for the Moscow economy. However, the city is already working to restore it, Vladimir Yefimov said.

He believes Moscow has stood tall in all trials, due to its diversified economy, as well as measures of state support.
