
According to the website of the Mayor of Moscow, the State Inspection Office for Property Use Oversight has inspected 764 Moscow enterprises for compliance with coronavirus safety requirements. It concluded that 94% of them are in compliance with the rules, Deputy Mayor for Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations Vladimir Yefimov pointed out.
“All companies must observe safety measures to stop the spread of the coronavirus infection. The State Inspection Office for Property Use Oversight has inspected 764 enterprises and revealed 46 violations, most of which have been already corrected,” he said.
The safety measures include wearing gloves and masks and using hand sanitizer. The company management must also ensure that personnel maintain the required social distance and set up special safety screens and partitions at workplaces.
“Another requirement is to hold medical check-ups for personnel between 12 and 31 May, when the employer must organize coronavirus testing for at least 10% of the workers,” Head of the State Inspection Office for Property Use Oversight Vladislav Ovchinsky explained.
Penalties for violations range between RUR 100K ($1,400) and 300K.
