A relevant agreement was signed by the government of the Ulyanovsk Region and Swedish company International Aluminium Casting Sweden AB at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
“The production facility will be located at the port special economic zone in the Ulyanovsk Region. Investment in the project will reach RUR 500 mio ($7.7 mio); some 70 jobs will be created. The plant in Ulyanovsk will become Russia’s first manufacturing plant of the Swedish company,” Governor Sergei Morozov said.
International Aluminium Casting Sweden AB is a supplier of aluminum components, over 40% of its production are components for trucks and buses.
