The Russian Navy’s Admiral Vladimirsky oceanographic research vessel completed its oceanographic research in the Bellingshausen sea and set a course for Montevideo (Uruguay), where it will arrive on March 5, website of the Defense Ministry reports.
The ship is currently on the approved route of the round-the-world expedition, dedicated to the 200th anniversary of the discovery of Antarctica by Russian sailors and the 250th anniversary since Ivan Krusenstern’s birth. The expedition started in December 2019 and will last until next June.
