Passenger flows between Russia and its neighbors restricted

Since Monday, Russia restricted flights to all of the EU, Norway and Switzerland. Flights will only be performed to the capital cities of those countries from one terminal of Moscow’s Sheremetievo airport. Since February 1, Aeroflot airlines flies to four Chinese airports from that terminal, with all other flights between Russia and China being suspended.

Previously, Russia significantly reduced frequency of its flights to Korea, Iran and Vietnam and cancelled all flights to Hong Kong.

A while ago Russia stopped railroad passenger transportations with China, Mongolia and North Korea. Now it suspended trains to Berlin and Paris (via Poland), Prague and Nice, as on March 15 Russia fully closed its borders with Norway and Poland. Bus transportations are also suspended.

Russian parliamentarians are prohibited to travel abroad and all visits of foreign delegations are cancelled.
