PEPCO distribution center comes to Hungary

PEPCO, a company operating in Central and Eastern Europe and distributing clothing and household items, will start to implement a greenfield investment in Gyál in April 2019 for constructing a 100K sqm Distribution Centre.

The Polish-based company will create 400 new jobs in the first phase of its project worth €85 mio, Hungarian Investment Promotion Agency reported.

PEPCO is one of Europe’s fastest growing retail chains which currently operates over 1.6K stores in Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia.

The brand was launched in 2004 in Poland, and since then has expanded its operations in Central and Eastern Europe. Currently the PEPCO Group employs 16K people in 11 countries in the region.
