
HeadHunter experts analyzed the labor market and identified the industries where wages are growing the fastest. The most promising areas for making money include IT and retail.
A programmer’s average monthly salary in Russia is RUR 91K ($1,430), which is 6.5% higher than last year. Wages are rising just as fast in retail. However, the average salary in retail is only RUR 59K ($926), Izvestia reports.
The slowest income growth was recorded in healthcare, pharmaceuticals and construction. Still, the money in healthcare is rather big right now. On average, medical doctors make RUR 80K ($1,256). Construction workers can also expect high earnings, or RUR 74K ($1,162) per month on average. Café and hotel staff makes the lowest money (about RUR 46K ($722)).
