A new facility manufacturing specialized ropes for the construction and other industries has opened in the Volgograd Region.
The project was launched at the Severstal-metiz company. The launch ceremony was attended by Deputy Governor – Chairman of the Industry and Trade Committee of the Volgograd Region Roman Bekov.
The implementation of the investment project began in 2015. The facility, manufacturing multi-strand low rotation ropes, is unique for Russia and will allow for increasing the annual production by 10,000 tons. The company also plans to manufacture wires and to open a logistics center. Investments in the current project exceed RUR 1.3 bln ($20 mio).
