Erasmus University Rotterdam, one of the world’s largest universities and research centers, recognized two new COVID-19 test kits by Wantai Biological Pharmacy Enterprise Co., Ltd (China) as the best quality tests.
These coronavirus antibody test kits will very soon become available in Russia and the EAEU. Russian company Cosmopharm issued a press release on signing a distribution agreement. The test kits are EU-marked and already supplied to Europe. The first batch is expected in Russia this month.
Although the COVID-19 pandemic is slowing down, the demand for accurate diagnostics remains high, Cosmopharm representatives argue. The World Health Organization and the Russian Healthcare Ministry are warning about a second wave of the infection this fall.
“Have I been exposed to the virus? Am I experiencing symptoms right now? Do I have immunity to COVID-19? If you are asking yourself these questions, the EIA test will give you the most accurate answer and show if you have COVID-19 antibodies in your blood,” says Cosmopharm CEO Tatyana Chernyavskaya. “An EIA test can determine a certain stage of the disease or asymptomatic carrier state.”
