Russian aircraft head to China

Russia’s United Aircraft Corporation will take part in China International Aviation & Aerospace Exhibition 2018 in Zhuhai between November 6 and 11, company’s webpage reports. The airshow held since 1996 under the aegis of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China and its Ministry of Civil Aviation is the largest in the region.

At the Airshow China 2018, UAC will present its civil, military and special purpose aircraft such as Su-35, Su-32, MC-21-300, Yak-152, Yak-130, IL-96-400M, IL-112V, MMTA, Be-200, Be-103, Superjet 100, and CR929.

“The airshow in China is very important for UAC. During the airshow we will be actively working with our Chinese colleagues to further develop our mutual CR929 long range wide body program and other projects – that’s why we are consistently strengthening and expanding our participation in the Airshow”, Yury Slyusar, UAC President, said.

UAC will also present its regular annual civil aircraft market outlook for the next 20 years. China is one of the growth drivers in the Asia Pacific Region, and UAC forecasts that the region will remain a global leader in demand for new aircraft until 2037.
