A neural network developed by Russian programmers allows detecting cancer metastases. This monitoring method will help doctors to determine medication dosage more precisely.

A neural network developed by Russian company Unim was taught using 60 Tb of diagnosis data and its learning was supervised by professional pathologists. It is expected that the invention will take histology to a whole new level. Cancer diagnostics will become super precise and doctors will be able to rely on a smart assistant rather than their own intuition. It takes the neural network 10 seconds to find metastases in the body. Metastasis diagnostics is necessary to determine medication dosage. The smart system is already operating in the testing mode and have been tested on 600 patients.
