Russian mobile marketing solution provider receives $1 million to go global

This story initially appeared in East-West Digital News, an international news resource covering the Russian innovation scene.

ASOdesk, a Moscow based mobile marketing solution and service provider, has just agreed a $1 million investment from Embria. The amount will be provided in two tranches within a year in exchange for a minority stake.

Launched in 2015, ASOdesk touts itself as an “all-in-one solution to grow [your] app business.” It helps companies in app store optimization and analytics, competitor insights and app monitoring worldwide. Among ASOdesk’s customers are such leading Russian companies as ABBYY, OneTwoTrip, Kaspersky, SuperJob and Yandex.

The fresh funding will help the company go global after success on its native market.

“We’ve virtually reached the upper limit of our market potential in [Russia and neighboring countries]. This investment may become the starting point of our company’s international expansion with a strong product,” Rusbase quoted ASOdesk founder CEO Sergey Sharov as saying.

Launched by Russian entrepreneurs in Cyprus, Embria presents itself as a serial startup creator with a focus on mobile apps. It has offices in Limassol, St. Petersburg and  Lappeenranta, Finland.
