Oleg Belozorov, Russian Railways CEO and Chairman of the Board, and Bashar Al Malik, Saudi Railways CEO, discussed bilateral cooperation at a meeting in Moscow, Russian Railways’ website reports.
The two executives agreed it’s time now to foster cooperation between the Russian Federation and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the field of rail transport, and noted, in particular, the great potential for cooperating on infrastructure projects.
Oleg Belozorov pointed out that Russian Railways was ready to consider participating in infrastructure projects in Saudi Arabia, including offering its services in urban mobility projects. Another promising area of cooperation is railway personnel training.
