The Ministry of Science and Higher Education has urged Russian students to transition to distance learning because of the coronavirus.
According to representatives of the ministry, the measure is necessary to protect both students and professors. Universities have received recommendations to migrate to online learning from March 16.
At the same time, officials require universities to complete their course curriculums in full. The Ministry of Education and Science set up its own coronavirus response headquarters, TASS reports.
