Russia’s harvest of greenhouse vegetables increases by 27.3%

  • As of November 8, the gross harvest of greenhouse vegetable crops in Russia amounted to 839,400 tons, Ministry of Agriculture’s press service reports.

    It is 27.3% higher than it was collected during the same period in 2017.

    This number includes 506,600 tons of cucumbers (+16.3%), 319,500 tons of tomatoes (+49.8%), and 13,300 tons of other vegetable crops (+30.3%).
