A plant in the Saratov Region will begin to produce unique flanges.
Techkomplekt, a company which is based in Engels, has secured soft loans from two Industry Development Funds, the federal and a regional fund, to produce steel flanges coated with polymer.
The Federal Industry Development Fund provided about RUR 16.5 mio ($260K) and the regional one, RUR 7 mio ($110K); investment in the project totaled RUR 42.3 mio ($666K).
These flanges are used to connect plastic pipes; they were not produced in Russia before.
