Sberbank and Rambler Group have announced the closure of the acquisition of a 46.5% stake in the media holding.
Both companies note in their press releases that Russia’s largest bank will have a 46.5% in Rambler Group, while the existing shareholders – A&NN and Era Capital – will have stakes of 46.5% and 7%, respectively.
The transaction concerns Rambler’s online and offline assets such as the Okko online cinema, a number of resources on the Runet including Lenta.ru, Gazeta.ru, Afisha.ru, Championat.com, Rambler.ru and LiveJournal.com, the Rambler.Kassa service, as well as Moscow’s Khudozhestvenny movie theater.
